About Mary Gorman

Mary Gorman

I am a Colorado native currently residing in Colorado Springs. I have always loved art, but didn’t pursue my artistic expression until I retired. Since retirement, I travel and enjoy painting watercolors and silk in my studio and plein air with Garden Artists around the Pikes Peak Region. I also love to paint silk. The vibrant colors, the incredible feel of the silk, and my original designs make them popular wearable art. My love of travel explains the diversity of my painting subjects. Everywhere I go I see beauty and amazing animals, people and landscapes. I am inspired and awed by how beautiful our world is. I aspire to convey my awe and nature's beauty in my paintings. I am a signature member of Pikes Peak Watercolor Society...
